Bangkok – The Bangkok Mineral and Rock Museum has launched a new exhibition focusing on rare minerals and rocks from around the world, as well as the formation processes of various minerals and their significance in daily life. This exhibition features rare rock and fossil specimens, along with interactive displays that allow visitors to engage with the information in a fun and educational way.
In addition to the new exhibition, the museum has scheduled special activities for students, researchers, and the general public, including:
- Exclusive Guided Tours of Rare Minerals and Fossils led by professional geologists.
- Fossil Digging Activity for children and young learners.
- Jewelry Crafting Workshop Using Natural Minerals where participants can create their own accessories.
- Special Geological Lectures by experts from universities and research institutes.
The Bangkok Mineral and Rock Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Admission is free for students, researchers, and pre-registered tourist groups.
